About This Villa
Perched on the exclusive south shore of Puerto Vallarta, Casa San Sebastian is an 8,000-square-foot oceanfront estate that redefines luxury living. Designed by award-winning architect Alberto Alvarez and interior sculptor Jorge Rubio, the villa seamlessly blends contemporary "new palapa" style with traditional Mexican craftsmanship.
The villa’s design emphasizes "less is more," featuring soaring thatched palm roofs, white marble floors with inlaid pebble mosaics, and high ceilings that create an airy, open-air ambiance. A unique highlight of the interior is the integration of half-century-old higura (fig) trees and natural boulders directly into the structure, merging the residence with its tropical surroundings.
Infinity Pool & Terrace: A dramatic 50-foot heated infinity pool and Jacuzzi create a visual illusion of blending directly into the ocean.
Entertainment Areas: The estate includes a spacious glassed-in living and dining area, a large modern kitchen, a private gym with ocean views, and a bar at the water’s edge for sunset cocktails.
The Grounds: Guests arrive via a native cobblestone driveway leading to a serene entry shaded by 50-year-old coconut trees and a cascading, blue-tiled fountain.
The villa is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests with a flexible layout consisting of master suites and private studios:
Three Primary Master Suites: Each features a king-size bed, a private terrace with framed ocean views, and an oversized marble bathroom equipped with a raised Jacuzzi and stone showers.
Fourth Master Suite: Offers a king-size bed and a unique oversized rock shower illuminated by a skylight.
Private Studio (Fifth Bedroom): Includes a queen bed, a private bathroom, and a large sitting area with a television.
Media Room (Sixth Bedroom Option): A versatile space featuring a queen bed and its own private bathroom.
Casa San Sebastian provides a full-service experience to ensure a revitalizing stay:
Dedicated Staff: A professional team including a private chef, houseman, housekeeper, and caretaker is managed by on-site lead Angela Sanchez.
Modern Comforts: The entire villa is fully air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV, high-end stereo systems, and secure garage parking.
Artisanal Details: Every corner of the home showcases local artistry, from hand-carved wooden doors by Esperanza Acosta to custom "equipales" (leather and wood furniture) designed by Marta Figueroa.
